Farm Tours
Farm Tours Are Available!
Farmtown Canada features our circa 1850 heritage log cabin and hobby
farm along with nostalgic antiques, fields with our beautiful
Haflinger horses, and our animal stations and displays making us a
great site for Schools, churches, agencies, residential groups,
seniors, daycares, bus tours wishing to visit and participate in a 1
hour, half day or full day excursion to the Farm. Book ahead to visit
the farm and experience the friendly staff that help you plan your
walking tour of the farm. Washroom and picnic facilities on-site and
take your time in our parkette and play area. Experience the rustic
rural atmosphere, relax and sit a spell. Or help the charity by
purchasing a souvenir to two.
Group Tours

Group or Bus Tours booking daily.
Tuesday - Saturday.
10am – 6pm.
School Tours

March 1 - November 1.
School Tours include age appropriate curriculum teaching.
Minimum 15 children or less: $75.
Note: bus drivers and chaperones
are free.
All children receive information and colouring sheets to take home.
Please try to arrive 15 minutes early to make sure you don’t miss a thing!
Rain dates available when booking. $25 non refundable deposit required

Family & Friends Guided Tours

Daily, Tuesday - Saturday.
10am - 6pm
$5 per person
$20 family of 5 or more
Buggy rides may be available for $2 per ride booked in advance.
As a registered charity with Canada revenue agency, your admission
donations support our camps, programs and counselling for those
children and families that would not otherwise be able to participate. Ask about our animal and child sponsorship opportunities.
Mosey along the tour trail to experience and learn a little bit about:
*llamas, alpacas, lion headed rabbits, sheep and fainting goats
*miniature donkeys, paint horses and a stallion wagon team
*see new editions to our herds every year
*peacocks, banties chickens, chicks, roosters, turkeys emus and ducks
*beautiful Haflinger wagon, draft and cart horses and their history in Canada
*the Franklin Family story and how the farm got started
*braid a horses tail and learn how to mount and dismount a horse
*play in our making tracks sand box and guess animal foot prints
*pond viewing station memorial garden and gazebo
*antique equipment, household and day to day items from days gone by
*log cabin rural life in the 1850’s and the history of farming in Ontario
*land and agricultural history and farming today
On the Road Again…

Haflinger horses and buggy, mini horses or other
animal displays can pack up and come to you. Call us for event ideas
and a fit that is good for you, your group and community that is also
reasonable. We make community events special and fun! We have a
great track record of being the best attraction at any event and safe
too!
